Hagrid's and Velocicoaster are definitely a must! They are the smoothest and most enjoyable coasters we've ever been on. You really soar over the track without being jerked around for no good reason.

I was last at Universal two weeks before Hagrid coaster opened up -_- that was my first and only trip there so far, we went to Disney this past May, I enjoyed Universal way more. So hopefully we'll be going back to Universal this year and I can ride both of those new rides.

My first year visiting Universal Resort, as an adult, was 2016. My husband and I couldn't figure out how to get into Diagon Alley and ended up on the train to Hogsmead. I told him we needed to go back the next year and find it. We did and have been visiting Orlando every year since. It's out favorite trip. This video will definitely help people out! I am really nervous about trying Velocicoaster. It was down we were there in November. I plan on giving it a shot though. 😂

If you go during warm weather, you should go to Volcano Bay at least once. Their lazy river is just GORGEOUS, especially the grotto area. And my son raved about how big the wave pool at the base of the mountain was. It's a really nice waterpark!

I went to islands of adventure when it first opened in 1999, it was brand spanking new and wasn’t quite complete and hardly anyone was there. Spider-Man was the first thing I went on and since hardly anyone else was there, I rode it over and over lol. Glad to see it’s still there along with Hulk. I’ll be visiting in May, first time I’ve been back. Quite a bit older now can’t wait to see it all again and how far it’s come along. Tho sad dueling dragons is gone!

Great video. My best pro tip is that if you stay at the resorts, you can pick up passes or tickets or buy them at the hotel vacation counter. So much faster than the ticket window. Also if you are coming for more than 2 days, probably get an AP

Even after visiting many times, you still find new things to do. Seasoned pros do things like: Hide small gifts for kids to find. Meet or photobomb a ThemePark Vlogger. Look for seasonal and park related Easter Eggs. Get a photo pass to capture all your ride photos. Thanks for the content V. See you in the parks.

One big thing you left out, CityWalk! CityWalk has a really great restaurants and experiences, either as a midday detour or as a nighttime attraction. Plus, some shops have exclusive merch that you cannot get anywhere else! Personally, I get Voodoo Doughnuts every single time I visit Orlando before I leave back home (and I take a few with me). If you're a first-timer reading this, don't leave CityWalk out of your trip!

I visited universal Orlando for the first time in October for HHN 30 and had a blast I rode Incredible Hulk four times 😜😜 kong and transformers six times each.

My girlfriend and I are going in February for her first time, and it's been so long for me that it might as well be my first time, too (last time I was there, Dueling Dragons was still there and still branded as such!). Tickets and hotel paid for (doing 3 days, staying at Aventura), reservations made (we're going to a different restaurant every night in CityWalk [Cowfish, Big Fire and Toothsome] as well as breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron on the first day and lunch at Mythos on the last) and we couldn't be more excited. She's a HUGE Harry Potter fan and she's also incredibly excited for the more intense roller coasters as she's never been on one before. Besides the rides, I'm quite excited for the Mardi Gras event, as we'll be there during that. I love cajun food, so I'm planning on eating more than my fill of that! Funny thing is that we'll be there for Valentine's Day. Wasn't really what we were going for, just how the planning ended up.

If not sure whether to see Islands of Adventure or Universal first, consider this: Universal: the Wizarding world of Harry Potter, including Diagon Alley and the Escape from Gringotts. It also has Springfield, the Mummy and Minions attractions Islands of Adv.: Hogsmeade, Jurassic Park including the Velocicoaster, Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure. If the heat is too much, Is of Adv has all the rides that you can get wet on such as Jurassic Park River Adventure, Bluto's bilge barges (there's a 95% chance you WILL get soaked!) and Dudley Doright's Ripsaw Falls, which is their version of Splash Mountain. Remember, if you do not have park hopper on your ticket, you can always go to the kiosk inside the train station to ride the Hogwarts Express. It is quite realistic right down to the staff's uniforms.

Also, I agree with the "stay on site even if it's Endless Summer", but having stayed at Endless Summer Surfside, I'd suggest, if you can even remotely budget it, go Cabana Bay. Not much more, MUCH more to do...

The express pass is not free at those hotels. We are going back this time cabana bay and it’s not FREE. It’s $500 for 2 ppl to add to the resort pkg. Do not expect to get express free. The Matt Damon show was the best I ever experienced. That made the whole money 💰 with it. Of course the E.T ride is fun and amazing. Anything Harry Potter is packed full so go early and get it over with. My son and I stood in a hour line to get his interactive wand. So the 2 hours early into the park is good but be aware of opening times. We are spending thanksgiving at universal and Islandd of adventure - hard rock hotel.

I think 2 parks in one day is possible but if you focus on the most popular attractions, I would recommend 2 days. But if you could only do one park I’d recommend Islands of Adventure!

Both parks are essential imho…if you want to see all of Harry Potter you have to do both! And I also think while there’s a lot to do at each, doing a few of the big rides at each park will make a much more satisfying day. But 2 days isn’t a bad idea if you don’t want to worry about running out of time

It’s tough to say. The most challenging rides to be, unfortunately, the Harry Potter rides. But everybody fits differently on a ride seat so what I would suggest to you is try the seats out at every ride that has one out front. It’ll save you some time for sure and don’t be afraid to talk the team members out front about it as well as they’ll know better

The Hulk is the first actual roller coaster I ever rode, it was definitely an experience lmao! I grew up so so terrified of rides because my grandma forced me on some little kiddie coaster at a fair when I was like 2 or 3 lmao. but then I went to universal for the first time when I was maybe 15 and I have been in love with thrill rides since, the more intense the better. its weird my opinion has done like a complete 180. So I also deff think people should give them a go if you think you are ready, because they are very fun, but dont force your kids on if they dont want to go haha. it made me too scared to try any ride until I was into my teens. Velocicoaster is my fave now though.
