Jin Roh has the coolest armor design in anime and, quite possibly, any media ever. Furthermore, I adore the movie and, while the rebels had some valid criticisms... order _must_ prevail.

Oh it's even worse than that. Considering the number of references to Space Marines/ Death Korps of Krieg slaughtering heretics I've read in the comments of such vids rather than identifying with the helpless resistance fighters being mowed down by the fascist police state, people identify as the inhuman, interchangeable and faceless enforcers.
@sulimanthemagnificent48932 жыл бұрын
@@sonofccn It's *even* worse when you realise not many people realize the *entire* universe is an allegory for IRL Japan at the time, and they only used Nazi's (that are conveniently "democratic" lmao) as shoe ins for the American occupation. So it's not even *just* about Facists it's about oppressive governments of all shapes and sizes that masquerade behind "constitutions" and "democracy". The movie however is more a character film, going over Fuze's whole arc as well as what military "brother hood" is.

@@sonofccn I can't empathize with a ''helpless resistance fighter''. I empathize with doing what needs to be done. It's not about ''being fascist''. It's about willpower and seeing life clearly.

@@sonofccn I have no pity for those that would bring chaos into order, for their own petty and selfish desires. Had their cause be just, the army would have sided with them, as it has done many times throughout history. But, ney. I was entirely on the wolves side from the second I saw the riots. If anything, I _highly_ empathized with the main character and his struggle to do what must be done for the good of his people, even if some are too blind to see it.

my only problem with this video is that you put the racking animation before the loading animation at 4:20, or was that in the movie? Either way, you rack the firearm after loading
@ComradeAesthetic Жыл бұрын
I did that intentionally because that is how you suppose to load an MG-42, German MG-42 is an open-bolt gun. You cock it before opening it in case the bolt isn’t seated on the sear and decides to go forward to pick up and fire a round when the gun is opened (a very bad thing), once it’s cocked, there’s no need to recock when loaded. There is no chambering a round with open bolt guns as rounds are fired as soon as the bolt locks behind the one in the chamber, and that is also how I was taught when loading my RPD. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZetnIhqiMabbqs

with belt-fed weapons, you need to rack it back before opening and after loading, the point I was making is that you forgot the chambering of a round because in the film they did what you did off-screen before opening, hence why it was already open and we only saw him drawing a belt and loading(i went back and checked to be sure, i wasn't sure when i posted the first comment)
@ComradeAesthetic Жыл бұрын
@@aidenfurry471 I mean i just posted an link to how MG-42 and how closed-bolt weapons work, once you rack the gun, insert a new belt, you close the top cover and it ready to go, no need to recock the gun or racking it.

Why on earth no one havent done a show where Wolf Brigade style of group does there worj very well and overall politics in the world is not some "brush it under the rug, but its preassure is building" type of whine. Or a game where you get to conquer a place like Wasteland with the Enclave and enjoy doing it. Somehow I get the idea that the artista thinks that anyone who gets powerful will immediately start plotting for more corruption and other vile schemes.

Still the best Kerberos film. Stray dog and Red Spectacles were just plain stupid WTFckery. Unlike Jin-roh where the plot is more direct, without any confusingly fantasist scenes and its rhythm was also much better, without forget the cringy acting. The only Kerberos which was worth watching . the rest, just move on after that.
