I love how he gives Gwen the charm meant to brake werewolf curse, with logic of "Why would I prevent myself from becoming a murderer, when I could become a murderer that can kill anybody besides just a few people"

A bit late, but here's a "fun" fact about the whole "movies bursting into flame" thing, and something a lot of people are probably aware of thanks to Inglorious Basterds: Back in ye' olden days, film was recorded on film stock made of nitrocellulose, which is not only highly flammable, but also produces oxygen as it burns, which further feeds the flames. As if this wasn't enough, as the film decays, it produces highly flammable nitrogen oxides, such as nitrous oxide, the thing which make Vin Diesel go 2 Fast and 2 Furious. Thus, nitrocellulose film, stored in an enclosed space subject to high temperatures, has an ever-increasing chance of spontaneously combusting. This was the cause of the 1937 Fox vault fire, where a warehouse vault in Little Ferry, New Jersey ignited as a result of a heatwave that saw temperatures reach over 100 degrees Farenheit (38 degrees Celsius). The poorly ventilated vault the decaying film was stored in was insufficient to contain the blaze, and the warehouse along with several nearby residential buildings went up in flames. In addition to two serious injuries and a fatality, a significant chunk of early American cinema went up in smoke. It has been said that entire careers of early filmmakers are totally gone thanks to it. This incident caused significant changes in film storage and a less flammable form of film stock to be researched. It's now believed that this is the cause of several significant fires in studios, film storage areas and even theatres, including a horrific blaze during the 1897 Bazar de la Charite that started when a film projector burst into flames, resulting in the deaths of over 130 people, including a large number of female members of the French aristocracy.

On the full moon front, as far as I'm aware the idea of werewolves transforming under one is a more recent addition to their mythology, based on the weird idea people have that wolves howl at the moon (they don't, they howl to communicate over long distances, the moon has no involvement whatsoever)

As Halloween is a state of mind, and not linked to a specific date, please can we have more of these videos? Also, hello by the way. I feel like I've walked into a room and just started shouting without even introducing myself. Hello. Sorry.
@HouseLyrander Жыл бұрын
In hindsight, it would have made MUCH more sense if the police assumed Bela attacked Jenny and that Larry mistook Bela for a wolf in the dark, then wrote the whole thing off as justifiable homocide, and the "there actually was a wolf" hypothesis came later after Larry started killing. But then, that's over half a century of hindsight to go on.

@@evanbasham4875 I dunno. I think it might be better. I just think it's fucking horrible when someone tries to speak like their an 18th century British aristocrat when talking about women.
