The green "accommodation" thing/building you see at 13:15 used to be used as a hotel (We stayed there) think it was a garage originally. Spent a very interesting evening chatting to a Polish chap who was a rein-actor (he was stood outside Hitlers bunker in an SS uniform the next day) whilst staying there, who was wearing a Carling T shirt when we met him, and he also had a rather strange attraction to Hyacinth Bouquet from Keeping up Appearances. We watched the film Valkyrie while we were there. I lost my favorite shades while looking down in the remains of the 20th July plot building. The whole experience was somewhat surreal.

25:14 - "Former place of a barrack where on 20th of July 1944 Claus Schenk, count of Stauffenberg, attempted Hitler's assassination. Both him as well as many others, who opposed Hitler's dictatorship, paid with their life." And of course it's Polish, what other language would it be in? There's a German version of the exact same text next to it.

Hi Lads, Hitler Wolf's Lair, what an interesting place to explore its hard getting your head round Hitler lived here for 3 years during the war. Just imagine all the meetings held here, the assasination attempts on his life then his realising the war was being lost. Would have liked to have seen his face then. Thank you for exploring here, I never knew about this place. ❤😊👍

What an awesome video. Have been fascinated about this place since I was young as my Grandad had collections of war books and one of them was about Hitler and Goerings hideouts. This place always seemed the most harrowing to me as a kid. (Grandad hadn't told me about Concentration Camps at that point). Thank you for sharing guys.

You can use Google translate if you need to read signs or anything in a different language, just use your camera and it will translate as you wave your camera over it.

Hey iks thanks so much for traveling to Poland to document the wolf's lair. Boy has Poland changed it since they decided to make money off of it and turn it into a museum. I got to see it in it's more original state from an explorer years back and I really liked that video way better than what is happening there now. I think they're changing things too much and it ruins it they should just leave it alone. But now they're modernizing it and ruining it I disagree with what they're doing but what can you do same thing when they take old military ships and turn them into museums there's places you can go places you can't go just ruins it at least for me I want to see the the structure the ship and its original condition not all modernized up. Sad!
