Right then, ordered one of these beauties - from Amazon - just turned up - missing the torch itself - so much of this going on at the moment. People, be careful when getting stuff from Amazon!

Really interesting lads as I am from Watford and never Knew those shelters existed, I am aware of some tunnels / chambers the other side of the canal where you were, part of an old school (Langleyberry). 😊

£70, not bad as torches go, shame it doesn't also go to wide angle.
@xcalibertrekker6693Күн бұрын
I thought that seemed a bit much given it is typical chinese crap. Shenzhen china where 90% of the worlds very low quality electronics come from.
@nemesis2264Күн бұрын
@@xcalibertrekker6693 I have several Sofirn lights and they are all very well made and have I have never had any problems with any of them. I was given an Olight Warrior X pro and to be honest I think it is way overpriced for what it is and also uses expensive proprietary batteries. What can you expect as Olight is the typical Chinese crap manufactured in Shenzen. LOL

1,000 metres = 1 kilometre. 1 mile = 1.6 kilometres. Half a mile = 800 metres. Therefore the torch shines a bit over half a mile.

Awesome video as ever. That Polish sign says it's 7.5 meters wide and 21 meters deep !!!! 🤯 However, the wikipedia specifications for the canal (off wikipedia) : The cut was dug to a specification of 2.5 metres (8 ft 2 in) depth, a maximum beam of 13 metres (43 ft). The beam at waterline (i.e. the breadth of the canal from bank to bank) was 23 metres (75 ft).[18] The canal alternated between cuttings and embankments, with some earthworks reaching 15 metres (49 ft) high

This reminded me of an old Paul Merton joke: "My grandfather told me that in the war, there was a German projectile with your name on it. He said that he wasn't bothered, but his neighbours, Mr and Mrs Doodlebug, were shitting themselves..." 😆😆😆
