After watching this series, I agree with majority of the viewers. Darren is a versatile, great actor. This role isn't easy to play because he went through so much: abuse, grief, abandonment and worse of all, having to denied his love for leading actress. He exuded inner emotions with unpretentious acting which I don't see much of in China cinema. Looking into more of his drama.

I wish Darren will play more historical dramas roles. His acting is amazing and one of the best whether it's a badass, serious, or trickster character. Bo Wang is my favorite character he has played so far and it's one of his best. He's just so attractive in a charming and badass way. Also to understand him, you have to think deeply under the surface. He may be rough and his words might poke, but if you're able to see the beauty inside his heart, you'll realize that he is the most pure character of the story. I love his natural skin that's not washed white. I love his eyes, his lips, and every expression he makes. He perfectly embodied the role of Wang Bo. His presence is so strong that in my opinion, the second male lead doesn't shine when he's around. Not to mention, his chemistry with Zhaixing is always explosive. Your heart will flutter and you'll want to scream. Zhaixing and Ji Chong... Well they have no sparks.

Completely agreed. I honestly do not see the fame of second lead. I watched untammed up to episodes 30 because of the hype but could not push myself to finish. The acting didnt stand out as Darren. He did indeed act instead of trying to be pretty like some actor/actress.

To be honest I prefer him as Wolfie, than the prince. When he's Wolfie, he's more carefree, adorable, and so cute. When he's the prince, he's colder and reserved and not as carefree and cute or adorable, as he was when he was Wolfie. I hate that we got to see so little of Wolfie. I hope he returns to his original self, whether the middle or end. Because I miss Wolfie.

Why almost everyone is so salty about xiao zhan getting more attention, it’s not he’s fault that he’s more popular, if anything I’m happy for Darren cause now more people will know him and support him cause of xiao zhan since most people come to watch this drama because of him. No need to put one actor down just to praise another. They all did a good job at portraying their characters in their own way, everyone including the staff of this drama did Ana amazing job so please respect everyone, if one person is more famous then be happy for the entire show cause the heat introduces other actors to new audiences so no one loses. Actor is just actor , and the personage is fiction , fake . Most of actors are totally different in real life than what they are in moovies. I prefer by a lot simple peoples, a real person of real life who helps people , does good , calls for good , from simple action of kindness and love. those who are there to glorify actors who have never done anything in life for the poor , the suffering, but who are just there to make movies and show off I feel only pity for them.
