No offence to everyone. I actually liked the movie and I liked Logan even more. I've never played the game. Watching the game's intro, this is how the movie could had originally opened and it could had set the stage for X-Men: Days of Future Past. The movie opening in post apocalyptic 2023. We see Wolverine in the ruins of a city and we see Wolverine fight and kill the soldiers and we then cut to Wolverine living in Canada as a boy in 1845 and the movie ends with Wolverine back in 2023 and the Sentinel robots attack the city and Wolverine flees into the distance and goes to find the other X-Men.

Adewale - Yes and No. Yes in regards to the violence, but no as far as in character development and insight. In the game we see all the bloody rage and carnage Wolverine is capable of and that is always cool. But in the film, X-men Origins Wolverine, we see how the events of this point in the character's life affect him and turn him into the man we see in the later X-men films.

I get your point spearofconquest but look at most video games today. They're just blood, gore, tactical shooting, gangsters, weapons and killing. But I know there are parent organizations that would boycott Marvel saying "it's too graphic for kids" LOL. well just cater to our more adult audience, I know i'd buy it. Champ Johnson i have watched a couple interviews in the past with hugh jackman talking about making the films rated R. The conclusions where he and the directors come down to how it may change how the little kids view their hero, they dont want to change the bad ass but good willed hero they know into the ruthless killing machine that everyone knows wolverine could be. It wouldnt be a bad movie in any means but there are issues with the out come it could have on children. Obviously there are other factors why they havent released a rated R Wolverine movie as well probably due to license deals and that crap.

He heals from it almost instantaneously, due to the fact that 1) his healing factor has had almost his whole life to adapt to unsheathing/sheathing his claws, so it does it faster, 2) the cuts are small so healing them doesn't take long, 3) Marvel have already stated this. A lot of times.

Carlos Mella-Rijo​ that's Daken, Wolverine's son, and the sheath is only used on Daken's middle claw. The claw is coated in the metal of the Muramasa Blade, which negates healing factors and makes it possible to kill Wolverine using the claws. As for the silicon sheaths on other claws, I'm 100% certain no comic-book material (or otherwise) has ever stated that Logan uses sheaths for his claws.
