@@divyanshsinha1045 Kirteesh is right and Sagar has explained it one of his sessions, also Naka too explained this. Chess is more of pattern recognition, Naka knows a physicist in Princeton who is stuck in 1600 for over a decade. So yeah, Chess has nothing to do with IQ.

@@Humble.fool05 Kind of the same case here, Physicist does not mean "ingelligent" and probably if that person had learned chess at 8 it would be much easier to be a 2400 instead of 1600 , it is pretty obvious that you can be an excelent chess player without be a genius but it is impossible to be in the top 10 or the elite and not to be a chess genius and super smart.

I would say that Anish, known for his drawing ability, has an advantage in this type of tournament, because draws are not losses (unlike in a round-robin or Swiss tournament, where a draw can be a "loss" if certain other players win).

You can tell Daniel is an outstanding intelligent boy, from the way he plays and looks around, inherited some crazy genes from his parents. If his parents start training him extensively from early on, I can see him become GM by 8 and defeat Magnus Carlsen by 10. Also that would be the sweetest revenge for Giri, making his little boy defeat his rival.
