I found this vid in the sidebar while listening to the likes of Lisa McHugh, Cliona Hagan, Ailish McBride & Shauna McStravock. I grew up listening to Alabama's song "Roll On (18 Wheeler)" which has a similar theme to this song, showing what a trucker's family goes through while he's gone. For example, the wife receives a call from a police officer about a truck getting jackknifed in a snowdrift, so she worries her husband may have died or been seriously injured. But later the trucker calls her & tells her he's all right. Anyway, keep up the good music. :)

These lyrics are so true about Trucker's wife's. I used to be a trucker myself and I've heard a lot of stories about marriages breaking up because their wife's hadn't got what it takes to be a truckers wife. Truckers wife's certainly are a special breed of woman. I give my "Well Done"! to all truckers wive's and to all truck drivers who are fortunate enough to have a woman of such strength and quality. And I really enjoyed the song.

I have driven trucks, bull wagons, & heavy equipment are my favorites. I could load or unload by my self. Favorite truck was a long nose KW with a 335 13 speed ranger, can`t remember the year but it had to be in the `60`s. Keep up the good songs.
