The way it works in SWGBG, is that All Techs removes civ bonuses (cheaper ships, no housing, etc) and opens up all units and upgrades, but unique units and techs remain available. It is nice to have Sith Masters with the Trade Federation 😂

There are a variety of benefits - it's one of the last places your enemies will look for your king, they'll spend resources, units, and time running around your resource and production buildings trying to find flagged TCs or Castles. It also somewhat lessens the chance that that ally will betray you and kill your king, since doing so would either kill their own king nearby, or take out a large part of their economy and production buildings, leaving them in an unfavorable situation to defeat the remaining players after killing you, so it incentivizes allies to not betray you or they'll be shooting themselves in the foot or the head depending on where their own king is. I don't know if Teal's was a genuine mistake, but I doubt he wanted to suicide himself out of the game just to watch two other players have a 1v1 and give himself 0 chance of winning.

Spoiler alert! I recommend Dow loading the custom scenario build order trainers . In the last 20 years , the build orders and timings have been created.. you start with 1200 elo points and will plummet down in ranked until you find your true rating.
