Strange to believe that a former Young Ones and Bottom comic actor writer directed this classic late 80s music video… One ADE EDMONDSON!
@superfurrygaz111 ай бұрын
Yeah there was point where he directed music videos, I remember he done one for an all-girl group called Fuzzbox that was themed around Thunderbirds, was called 'International Rescue' - it was absolutely awful lol but Im sure they had a laugh doing it.

Great band. All that alternative rock, pre Nevermind/Nirvana era (1983-1990), was amazing and totally underrated. There are many gems from those years when that rock was really ''alternative''

They used to play this on 106.7 KROQ back in the day (1989). Hadn't heard it in years, still sounds great. It's criminal more people don't know about the song. To me, one of the best rock songs ever.

I can't get enough of these guys!! After a decade of George Michael, Rick Astley, Prince, the worst Rolling Stones records ever made, drama queen overkill Tina Turner, etc. I thought Rock and Roll was dead until The Wonder Stuff came out.

Ah. Reminders of my first true love. In hindsight, 32 years later, the line ‘I don’t think of you do you think of me, is it often or not at all?’ has a resonance and an irony. I do sometimes wonder what you went on to do, Bex.
