They are rebooting it, but from the perspective of a black family in the 60's. Fred Savage is an Executive Producer on the show and will direct the pilot. They are aiming for a release sometime later this year.

Interesting that Danica was studying geometry in the interview and later became a math whiz, writing many books encouraging interest in mathematics. For a generation that watched the series, she will always be Winnie, that ideal beauty of teenage romance.

I think Regis' questions towards Danica about her relationship with Fred were slightly intrusive, but TBH, I would have asked exactly the same sort of thing myself. Everybody always asks actors the same mundane questions.

Why do people keep putting the guy down, he's dead, have some respect, damn! He didn't seem creepy, he was just asking questions he was probably told to ask, it's called being a journalist or investigative reporter, maybe they don't like to ask those type of questions but their job wants them to.

I think Regis did a pretty good job and always had to lay the charm on thick, maybe too thick. He should have had more constraint when asking kids personal questions about love, though.

I didn't know about this show until it came on Nike at night in the mid 90s. And as a kid. I didn't really get that the show wasn't really in the 70s... so in my mind they look amazing for their age.
