I remember working with Mike Kennedy at a camp. We both had bands (mine obviously forgettable) and I would take him home some days and he would say "I have this joke band called the Wonder Years check us out on myspace" and they were mostly joke songs at the time, yet still really good. He would also take me to local shows like "The Premier" which was Dan and Matts band back during the same time. I never knew they would mean as much as they do to me growing up in the same area and experiencing the same things. I will never stop loving this band for the things they did for me. Mike Kennedy is a great friend.

I just love how this band and Dan in particular evolves with time and manage to address the topics that fit to my personal situation I am in. Anxiety and being lost to the world in my early twenties to now facing the decision to becoming a dad or not in my early thirties. And I have to say that Wyatt's song just gave me push to fully embrace becoming a dad, as it really hits the nerve of being scared of never being enough for the kid I will have. Thanks Wonder Years to evolving with us topic and musicwise

I love you guys so much. The Greatest Generation and No Closer To Heaven got me through some of the worst years of my life, hearing that you guys are working on a new album struck so many god damn chords in my heart. Soupy, you’re my inspiration for pursuing music. The Wonder Years, all of you, your songs are pure poetry engraved on my heart. No matter where you end up after this record, You’ll share a very special place on someone’s heart.

This new album comes out 5 days after my due date and I cannot waiiiiit. My dad died while I was at the Providence show Dec 7th, and I conceived 3 weeks later and found out I was pregnant on my birthday after asking my dad to send me a healthy baby for my birthday. Two of the new song releases have fallen on the same day as OB appointments and I've been taking it as a sign that my dad is watching over me and this pregnancy. This band has been a huge part of my life for years, but especially since last October when he first got sick. TWY got me through his illness, his death, and now whenever I'm listening to them, my lil girl is kicking right along in my belly. I cannot wait to hear this album and watch the documentary. Thank you for all that you do, guys, and keep being you

Ever since The Greatest Generation, you guys have made an album that has resonated and related to me with the things that are going on in my life at that current time, which is quite eerie but unbelievably comforting. The way that the fundamental question of this album was talked about is EXACTLY what I'm going through right now. It's been almost 10 years since I've discovered this band: I'm forever in awe of the art you all create, the sentiments that ring through these lyrics, the shoulders that I've leaned on at your shows when the tears started flowing. You guys have been, are now, and will forever and always be my favorite band. All my love goes to you guys, thank you for your vulnerability, honesty, and grace.
