As adults, we lose our way but there is hope. Shot entirely using a pinhole with a Fujifilm X-H1 camera. No lens used.

I recently discovered your work when I learned of about digital pinhole photography and have become deeply interested in this type of photography. Your work is amazing and inspiring to me. Thank you for sharing with us. I’m so thankful, that from what I’ve seen/learned about your work (I’ve read many of your blog posts), pinhole photography has been deeply meaningful and expressive to you. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. I really appreciated this video you created. I loved your beautiful work combined with your spoken words about differences between childhood innocence and adulthood and the inspiration to revive some of that childhood innocence as adults. It was very meaningful and toughing to me. Thank you!

Thank you very much, Amanda. It’s very gratifying when someone interprets my work in the way you did. Because these projects are so personal, I just put them out there not really expecting any kind of response. I have had your reaction to other people’s work over the years so I know what it feels like. I don’t know if you saw the article I wrote about my pinhole process for an online magazine called FujiLove. If you haven’t, you can find it here: fujilove.com/author/steven-dempsey/

Wonderful and though provoking as always. are you ever going to make a tutorial on how you do these film? I understand the pinhole but the film weave and dust etc are very convincing.

Thanks. Probably not because these are very personal films and I really don’t want to dissect them into technical pieces.
