Platinum wanted to port it for years and they actually turned down a deal with Nintendo. Nintendo offered to pay for the work to be done, but only if it was a Switch exclusive.

Looks like Bloodstained ritual of the night all over again. Sold the best and ran the worst on the Switch... Edited... U know what though? I think I'll bite the bullet and get it. Yes the frame pacing is bad but the camera mostly scans instead of pans so it won't be that noticeable and... Dig foundry said they would like a locked 30 but I remember God of War on Pro had a locked 30 at fake 4k and 1080 at framerate similar to this game. As much as I would like to convince myself a connoisseur of evenly paced frame pacing, I never noticed it in 3rd person action games and played GoW all the way through in between 40 and 50 fps.. Would be a different story for a 1st person fps, like borderlands, but I think I'll go c what this game is about and hopefully a patch will come along for both a locked 30 1080 or solid 60 at 720...or a switch Pro ;)

What’s with all the Direct negative comments?? Nintendo has publicly stated its hard to get everyone together during this COVID and this applies to Directs. The last “Direct” although mini was in March but they had it ready awhile back according to insiders. Don’t expect a Direct at all until next year when things slowly get back to normal.
