This game is so amazing I'd recommend it to anyone with a Wii U. You can't have a Wii U and not have this game. In fact, I'd even recommend getting a Wii U just for this game. It's that good.

I agree entirely. It reminded me of my amazing childhood. Particularly Saturday Morning with cartoons such as Kim Possible, Teen Titans and Samurai Jack. The plot was epic as were the cut scenes and though it was childish, that made it even better. Plus I loved the genius gameplay

I bought my WiiU this Summer and so far i had a blast, I preordered Bayo2 (I even managed to preorder a First Print Edition) since i liked the first game on ps3 altough it was a bit crappy to play on PS3. I'm also considering to buy THe Wonderfull 101, I played it once at a convention and loved it. But its not easy to make up my mind to buy it, I could buy it for a low price as second hand game but that wouldnt benefit Nintendo or Platinum Games. But at Full Price its too much to handle financially right now. Ahh those moral conflicts

One of the greatest games on the Wii U, but too bad it sold only 60k copies in its first year, (and most of those copies were discounted). The worst part is this game might not even get a switch port. Nintendo might be scared about just how poorly this game sold. We all know the Wii U itself sold awfully, but this game sold terribly even for the Wii U. Most games sell at least 100k-200k copies.

I recommend using Hero Sense or Hero Time. With Hero Sense when narrowly avoid getting hit by something the game goes in slow mo, The one I like a little better Hero Time slows down the game when you dodge an attack at the last second.

In the demo for this game, if you go to the little lobby area it takes you to when you choose "wonderful missions", if you draw a wonder circle on the left side of the area, you can find a little area that has Wonder Pink hidden there, as well as Wonder Yellow in the top-right area. You can use them in the wonderful missions. There are also several obscure parts in the same lobby, if you draw wonder circles in certain parts, it lets you try out the hanglider function.

If you don't mind me spoiling much, it's one of the hidden characters called Poseman. You can replace the coloured leaders with others recruited (civilians temporarily, enemies temporarily or the non-coloured heroes who have themes). Poseman resembles our Joe by design, plays the Unite Hand role (he can take over for Wonder Red) and his special ability is that his fist is always on fire (normally you grab fire from enemies while only in that state, Poseman skips it). There are more secrets.

wonderful 101 is an amazing game, i give it a 9/10 score :D, i love the gameplay mechanics and the comic book style super hero theme. Levels and boss battles are epic a definite sleeper hit. I hope that platinum games can continue the franchise because there has to be a part 2. I highly recommend this game to anybody willing to try something new and fresh to this gaming generation flooded with fps.

***** Interesting, Viewtiful Joe was also underrated and undersold for being so brilliant a game, and it falls into a very similar cultural genre as this. Maybe the whole sentai fighter thing is just so niche-audience oriented that it penalizes its sale potential in general? Another factor is that PIKMIN 3 got plenty of advertising by Nintendo in contrast to this title which it lacked, so Nintendo is partially responsible too for The Wonderful 101 having low sales.

***** Yes, that too. The reasons I gave and the one you mentioned had a part why The Wonderful 101 didn't sell much. On the bright side, it generated enough money to not be considered a commercial flop and the developers could make a sequel in the future. It also got a very strong cult following which means the game does have an adequate amount of fans, so not everything is bleak and actually has a few highlights of success.

It's a very rare occasion that I replay a game the second I complete it. Wonderful 101 is one of those games. I cannot tell you how much I love this game. I mainly got my Wii-U for MH3U, but when I saw this game on sale for $30 I said "What can I lose?". I don't say this a lot,but I would've happily payed $60 for this game. It saddens me it didn't sell well, but if Nintendo puts Wonder-Red or characters from this game, it might increase its sales! Wonder-Red for SSB4!

You control 100 character, drawing a line or a circle creates constructs (green lantern style) to fight or solve puzzles. It's like pikmin and viewtiful joe were playing bayonetta

This game looks fun and the style's interesting, but clearly they went the cute, super-deformed route. Did they really have to make all the women overly sexualized? Like, no one's getting turned on by these proportions, so that's clearly not the goal. Can we just have normal, fully dressed women please? (Or overly sexualized men--- an even balance either way).

For a T for teen Super Hero game, it barely is sexualized. You should actually play it, man. The game focuses a lot on the action & story anyway for what little it to really bother anybody. If anything, it's just a part of Wonder-Pink(A fashion loving Olympic gymnast), & Vijounne's(a devious GEATHJERK officer) personality. It's kinda like Bayonetta all over again, but barely even noticeable.

Wonderful 101 thrives on making fun of stereotypes by going above and beyond with them (just take a look at Wonder Red's overly dramatic speech patterns). When they sexualize a character in this game, they aren't going for the "men like women, so lets get more money by putting some in" factor, they are trying to get a laugh by satirizing other games that do.

It has to do with the way the audience enjoys them. And it's not the end of discussion. No creator makes games purely for themselves. They're made for people to share and enjoy, and that's why there's reviews. And comments sections on youtube. Where I'm allowed to say I don't like a thing. Just like you're allowed to say you don't like that I don't like it.
