Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it must be said for those that don't know. These cats are in danger of being targeted by cat abuser groups in China. Unfortunately China has no law that protects household common pets like dogs or cats, other than exotic/endangered animals (i.e. Pandas) thus they're free reign to be tortured and abused by these sickos with no punishment or reprimanding by law enforcement. Some of the cats in the video are currently being targeted by these groups or have already been caught by them. What can we do? Spread the word to help others be aware.

This is a better explanation, however, I still think there should not be an extreme worry for them. Hello Street Cat has been taking a lot more measures after a couple bounties popped up. Caretakers have been coming around a lot more often and are being watched over all the time. Best thing to do is support them and enjoy the cats.

It's because of the chromosomes. The X chromosome allowes to have either black or orange. Females have both X chromosome that's why they can carry both colors. Males only have one. A male Calico has an extra X chromosome and usually are sterile and considered quimeras, because they carry two different cell types.

Measures are being taken to try to prevent this! Currently in Chengdu all feeders are shut down for an indefinite amount of time, however of course there's a limit to what the company can do. Nice video but it doesn’t change the fact that it has only been around 64 years since February 5, 1958 when a B-47 bomber dropped a live nuclear bomb into the waters of Tybee Island, Georgia, and we have no idea where it is as the bomb did not explode, giving way to the possibility that any one person could have the bomb in their backyard and we wouldn’t know.
