Is there a pro or con to picking a certain Village neighborhood to buy in? If someone was to move there, would you suggest renting something before you step out and buy right away?

Love the the videos very honest and informative. I visited The Woodlands last weekend and it was surprisingly beautiful, you can easily feel the difference especially when you are coming from the Houston area. Definitely coming back. New subscriber👍

Hello. Can you tell us about business and trade opportunities? For example, about finding a salaried job and finding a factory job.

Just a heads up. Your lav mics are recording to either the left or right channel but you need to separate them during editing to make them stereo again. I’m listening with headphones and can only hear either of you on one ear. 🙌

Is the Woodlands area a high risk area for flooding?
@livinginhtx6 ай бұрын
Not at all, very few homes in The Woodlands flood and we are aware the few areas that do and can easily avoid them

At 14:28 You mention California like the WX is one thing, it's not. The Coast has one climate, Then inland the temps change as your travel inland. The San Fernando Valley is different from Santa Monica or LAX. Inland Empire, Palm Springs, not to mention say Fresno, Yosemite, and then also San Francisco. Coastal Californians have heavy winter coats to travel in our on State, The Mountains over SoCal. Big Big. Norcal Tahoe. But true California WX always beats Texas WX especially Gulf Coast like IAH. I worked for a IAH based Airline with a lot of Airline Employees living in the Woodlands and Conroe. Your series is interesting. Oh and I used Airline shorthand WX means weather.

I know Texas has a lot of family communities but what is it like for older and younger Singles there?
@livinginhtx2 жыл бұрын
Obviously downtown, midtown and the heights are going to attract the most older and younger singles crowds simply because there is so much to do in those areas. However, I believe The Woodlands has some of the best singles community of other suburbs because it has more nightlife and amenities, and there are a lot of companies up here.

Hey man I am looking to move near Houston , I started looking around on google maps and saw there was a big national forest up north. I really want to be near a lot of nature for hikes and near water and hills would be nice too. Do you think woodlands or kingwood would be the best choices ? I want to be in a good area as well Cuz I want to spend about 1 mil and hopefully get a 1+ acre lot with it. Please let me know if you think there are better choices ! Thank you.
@livinginhtx2 жыл бұрын
Yes the national forest is just north of Conroe and it is beautiful. The woodlands doesn’t have much elevation change, but the trees are pretty. If you want an acre lot, you’ll need to look outside of the woodlands. How do people from California get treated there? Most of us leaving are leaving because of politics and cost of living, lifestyle. But wondering how hard it will be to get work there? I realize all the outsiders have changed your housing market and traffic and that sucks for locals. I have seem it where i am from in California
@livinginhtx2 жыл бұрын
I think people online are quick to be mean to others and tell Californians not to come to Texas. My experience however is that the vast majority of people in Texas are very kind, friendly and welcoming. It is embedded in the DNA of Texas. There may be push back on certain politics, but it's nothing that I think should prevent Californians from moving. Cost of living is significantly better here, and there is no state income tax. I'm unsure of what its like to find new work here, but I know the economy in Texas usually seems to be better off than other places I've visited.

There is 2 things came to me that is important. Churches to attend. So I guess the woodlands must not have any, so that tells me you are going to have a travel to go church and the 2nd important to me is Safety. What is the crime like. How safe is it for kids to play outside in yard or at the parks you talk about. I've watch 2 of your video's today. Both video's you did not mention these 2 important issues for families thinking about moving to woodlands.
@livinginhtx2 жыл бұрын
Tons of churches, a quick Google search will help with that. And same with crime stats. Crime is not a large issue in the areas we cover so don’t feel the need to discuss.
