² A few years back, we purchased our first bulk Plywood. Because we wanted the best plywood to build campers out of in Salt Lake City, Utah -- and, no one locally provided it. Our suppliers catered to traditional craftsmen and builders... not, Van Builders, Camper Builders, and Camper Restorers.
We took a chance, and dropped some coin on more wood then we needed -- but, offers it for sale. Helping other builders get the goods to build better campers. Here we are a few years later with even better wood available. WOW.

I’m not familiar with the product you are using. Have you considered a composite honeycomb core material like Nida Core with either aluminum or wood veneer applied? Light weight and the core material is not exceptionally high cost.

Good suggestion! We have used laminated Coosa board in builds before, another core alternative with positive results. But, a good plywood is easy to work with, making it our main go to.

No cork, it's a mix of hard and soft woods
