high quality film stock looked after well I think. Also the stuff we see on youtube may be a mixture of dubious stocks, conversion to NTSC or PAL giving about 400-500i , which was then ripped to a computer and encoded probably with MPEG2 compresion including ugly artifacting. This footage then was put onto a DVD, then people would rip that and upload to file sharing sites. This footage may have bypasses all of that inbetween .

Also I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and a good question to ask yourself if you were to die today would you go to heaven ? I wish somebody would release the experimental 1125-line analog Hi-Vision HDTV tapes from the Japanese company NHK of the Woodstock 1994 festival!! And I'm sure there are people around who still have their own home VHS, S-VHS, & Hi8 videotapes of the event also somewhere. We've gotta preserve these historical events before the media they're on are lost forever!
