what an amazing haul and vlog, thank you for documenting your journey! Such a shame you couldn't stay longer, but hopefully see you next year :D

Thanks a lot for watching vanissia and yes it was a shame. We didn’t fancy an overnight bus journey home though 😂

I've used midwinter yarn's Lithuanian linen, I knit a Gullame tank by Ysolda Teague holding it double and it really does soften up with washing. The amount of drape that you get from just one wash is incredible, but it keeps getting better with multiple washes. Linen is also a unique, to my knowledge, fibre in that it actually gets stronger when wet so you really can just bash it around when it's wet and it gets softer without hurting the fibres. I was at the festival (in a hot pink pullover on Friday!) but I didn't see you. I wasn't able to sit outside much because I'm allergic to nicotine and there were people smoking in the courtyard :-/ I'm glad you had a good time and got home safely, hopefully we can meet up next year :-D

Thank you for the lovely comment. I will have a look at the pattern you suggested. I think it’s just so unusual and not something ive knit with before but i really want to make some sort of top with it. It’s a shame you wasn’t able to sit outside. Xx

Wow you brought home some beautiful yarns! That merino/silk/cashmere blend must be the latest as I was just considering getting some from a local duet. Thanks for keeping me company as I recover and knit on my mom’s Seigaiha shawl.

Aaahhh hope you recover quickly (whatever may be wrong). New cast on today so look out for that in the podcast this week (Sabai Top no. 2). Also Ive been inspired by one of your pattern suggestions as well. I’m going to use one of my advents and make the Rock it tee. I think it will be perfect 👌 so thank you

@@mlea79so glad you’re going to try the RockIt tee. I love how it has the design down the side so you don’t see the jog when you change colours:) I’m hoping to cast on the Thea top today to use up some leftovers. I had dental surgery but I’m back to work tomorrow so I need to finish your videos up today- they really have kept me happy:)

Do you mean a beret? or is it a certain pattern you are referring to? ive had a look on ravelry and am not sure. If you mean a colourwork beret then that could be really nice and a definite challenge with my tight gauge 😊
