Yay! Thank you! So far I've had someone say the petiteknit one pokes through too ! but you can make the ridge a couple rows longer so it has more room

I guess orange, pink and turquoise! 😅 Great episode as always! For the purple sweater, sometimes alternating yarn is not solving anything, it can depend of the yarn. For example: I did alternate skein for a sweater and it created stripes which I didn't want so I rip back, I use helical knitting but even then, it created a swirl. I kept the swirl😅

In my experience a slip stitch edge before picking up stitches from that edge only makes sense if you knit e.g. half fisherman's rib, because here the rows are not as high as in stockinette, so you can just pick up 1 stitch from each slip stitch and it will work out perfectly. For stockinette I 100% agree with you.

My guess is peach/pale orange, lime, aqua, yellow for the sample yarns. I also have the 'too much' issue now that I have been knitting for a few years. I have started making dog sweaters and blankets- one very quick and portable, one very slow and non-portable.

Spectacular knitting as always and a special wow for your Lauder Vest! As to knitting garments with more than one skein of hand dyed it seems too much work to balance out the color differences. You’re not the only podcaster I’ve seen struggle with this issue or not having enough of one dye lot for even commercial yarn. Certainly I hope it works out for you:)

I have never enjoyed knitting cables, but your beautiful Urania Cardigan and Lauder vest make me want to tackle them again. On camera, the cables in the Urania Cardigan have a lot of definition. And the Andrea Mowry shawl is just so stunning and ethereal looking! Regarding your looser tension with purls when knitting flat stockinette - did you ever consider trying out the knitting backwards technique? I have never tried it but I recently queued a vest pattern that has you using that technique for the front and back of a bottom-up vest after they are separated for the armholes, so you can eliminate all the purling. And congrats on becoming a sample knitter! My color guesses for the yarn are raspberry pink, peach, orange, and maybe green. I would love to own Rebecca’s Stick Season pattern 😀

My guess is lime green, bright pink, turquoise and ctitus yellow! I’m loving the clutch and cowl. I’ve also been knitting on a colour work cowl since Christmas with a Scottish wool advent.
