Nice sweater. I also had a civilian made version as a kid, bought on a family vacation to Britain in 1975! I had it for a decade afterwards! Original 1960s ones are going for around £200 these days.

Hey Al bro ! ..yeah I love these old jumpers.. I used to have a V neck one from the 1950's ..issued to me as a cadet in the CCF when I was at school. I had to return it of course when I left.. I remember my Mum sewing on my Lance corporal stripe to it ..later another to make corporal.. corporal punishment !! lol I got this knock off version brand new for 60 quid (which included customs charges and postage from the UK.. so happy with that !!).. it will see me warm this winter.. and itching !! lol

I was in a military surplus store recently and looking to buy one of these. But no matter what size I tried, I would need to have been a midget to get into them. Apparently they shrink if they’re not washed correctly?
