Yup lots of people this year already. I havent been to the creeks in a week because the people outnumber the fish right now. After a good rain I will hit the creeks again and will hit them pretty hard until the end of April. Right now its just not worth the effort.

@Alexvnder_Wood11 ай бұрын
@@FuhrerTrump Yes they are there as well. Y'all call em white perch. Look it up. Everyone around these parts and Oklahoma go crazy over the sand bass run. They call em here Sandies, Sand Bass and White Bass (natural name for em).

You should be lucky you found parking there. There is a way on the east side of that creek where you will be opposite of that hot spot, you just have to be creative. Those fish are not going upstream due to the log jam, they will pile up on each, in two weeks you can walk on their backs to cross the creek it will be so thick of sandies and hybrids. You just have to be creative to cross that side channel running parrallel to the road, then you will have that whole spot to your self until the amigos figure it out. The looks on their faces will be priceless.

I had to park across the road. There were guys on both sides this day. 2-3 in every spot you could access the creek
@rammone524111 ай бұрын
I should have told you before about the access on the other side since that place gets packed. 2-3, that is nothing, I have seen the parking lot full, and over 20 cars along the guardrail. You really don't have to cast out, a 11-12 ft med jigging rod dipping in front of you will catch fish. Along side the bank are some deep slopes where they like to pass. I have fished that creek when the lake was 5-6ft low and they still make it, late March to April is the best time in there. At the mouth one time in early April, it looked like an Alaskan salmon run there were so many fish trying to go upstream. I thought they were carp but were mostly hybrids and mag sandies. I hope you get to see that, it is epic.@@KidKrappie
