Ehrman consistently and intentionally speaks out of both sides of his mouths... When with scholarly crowds he uses technical terms like "this is a divine claim"; when with lay crowds he repeats controversial claims like "the synoptics contradict." We can use kurios for God the Creator and for his Creation Human being as sign of respect and Majesty Why they never called Jesus as Theos in the Bible and they call him always as kurios? Some of the versions translate it as My Master not my Lord: John 20:28 (MSG) Thomas said, “My Master! My God!”
