I think it's worth getting off-topic. The Word appeared as a vision. The Word of the Lord is the pre-incarnate Christ it would seem.

That is what I thought as well, the word of the Lord appeared to Samuel at Shiloh. It is clear that the word of the Lord is visible and bodily.

Just curious why you never end your prayers in the Name of Jesus, instead you say in his name?
