While I don’t work for SEGA, my previous office job was for a licensed apparel company that made merch for movies, tv series, and video games. We knew release dates and would get official artwork for these movies/series months before their official release. I left summer 2024 and we were already in development for merchandise that will be in stores fall 2025 for content that will be in theaters or tv in fall 2025.

I think i know one of the examples. There is only song situation that get delayed in project sekai which is Awake now by Yunosuke. They have health issues during the time so they decide to release An2 event without Commission somgs andadd it later in few months when Yunosuke health is better. I mean Yunosuke reveal a tweet talking about their health when the announcement release about them being the producer for An2

I'm surprised that something like this even needs saying lol. People seriously think something as challenging to sing as Heat Abnormal could've been recorded in the time between the announcement and the release in-game? Not to mention tuning the vocaloids probably takes a while too, no matter how it sounds. Rome wasn't built in a day, people... come on now...

Common sense isn’t as common. I’ve been seeing videos on how Sega still has time to make Shiho5 happen first, as if Saki6 wasn’t already recorded months in advance. For all we know Shiho5 is wrapped up as well and just scheduled to be released next year.

You would think it’s common knowledge but people are complaining about how the devs should change the focus event to Shiho5 instead, as if Saki6 wasn’t recorded months ago. Lol Project Sekai is already in production for 2025 events and songs by now.

Dude, I have people arguing with me on Twitter mainly that Project Sekai did a last minute switch from Shiho5 to Saki6 as if the company didn't intend for the storyline to progress this way.

is this about the Saki6 ordeal? bc other than of course all the schedulling that they need to do, I feel like limiting stuff like order that the events need to happen could be very detrimental to the writing of the story
