Tone deaf and out of touch especially not addressing the the biggest problems regarding wealth inquality, 2008 financial crisis, record profit for executive while the bottom 90% get bread crumbs that cannot keep up with inflations. The rich continued to lobby congress, while the poor barely had enough to survive. The middle class is dead, either you are the rich or the poor. In this day and age, you can be as indepedent as you want and still unable to afford a home, food, electricity, insurance, schooling, childcare unlike in the 1900's where 1 parent can work and afford home, food, college and all basic necessities. Neither republican or democrat could solve the issue. Finally, so you want someone who understand the current economic situation they are in, to work and earn a poverty wage to serve you food, bring you rental cars while you laughed your way to the bank and enjoy all the benefits? you had the audacity to mention, if they weren't there it means no food on the table then point to assistance programs. So you are implying that they should be desperate enough to work for a poverty wage to put food on the table, therefore we're extorting people from their desperation to filled your needs. This is the soceity we wish to live in and raise our children in? a soceity where desperation is key for cheap labor. I sincerely believe it is not sustainable, and the sign of wear/tear is clearly visble.

I love how he said all that PPP money "trickled" down 😂. I helped a company that was trying to get small businesses the PPP money. We did everything we could, and the money that regular mom and pop shops got, paled in comparison to what bigger corporations got. I don't think that money "trickled" down to regular folks.

Why would people want to work when a $12/hr job doesn't even cover food and rent on a studio apartment? It is completely rational to stay living with your parents if low wage work is the alternative. To incentivize people to work you have to pay a living wage. Take away every social safety net and you won't get anyone out of their parents' house, you'll just get more homeless people on the street.

two things: You get what you pay for. If jobs don't pay, people don't show up. and you shouldn't be leaving a tip anyway. Tips are for suckers.
