16:05 Actually the test was never shown in either the anime or the Manhwa. Sometimes in the story they show you the tests, but only the ones that are important, the ones that are not are simply omitted and the story is continued so that it does not drag on too long.

@@DrJaceAttorney in the manhwa, we have many specific label in the form of textbox which contains information about the timeline, age, and timeskip. The ANSWER STUDIO seems allergic to give out these information by simply adding big text on our TV screen. They are making the characters saying it, but usually only one time and it gets overlooked by many people. This method cannot continue in further seasons because the story will start to show past history of the tower and specific timeline related to many powerful characters (for example: HOAQIN, the powerful DPS purple unit from TOG NEW WORLD game). Season 3 will be about HOAQIN ARC. He is way beyond 1,000 years old (You heard me right. Hoaqin's age is more than ONE THOUSAND YEARS OLD in TOG time settings).

The test they were training for in the Manwha was not shown in the Manhwa either - they adapted all of the available material. The cut is just a bit more abrupt in the Anime because unlike the Manwha, they don't show any overlays that tell you how much time has passed, so you can only find out through dialogue. I think the choice to include those overlays would have made it a lot easier to follow

Wangnan's test for floor 30 was skipped in the Webtoon as well. The anime pacing is... weird. They skipped through the early parts where we would form a bond with the new protagonists but they slowed almost to a halt for the later parts. Example: The first three episodes adapted 17 chapters, the last three episodes didn’t even adapt 9 (full) chapters. The guy running at the end is basically a new charater. He was teased in episode 8 and is the one who aspires to become Emily's (AI) boyfriend. You would not remember him from the episode. It is weird that they enden the cour on him running away. Honestly, the whole "Emily being a creepy woman in a bathtub" storyline only becomes relevant now. It is weird that they didn't just show the scenes with Emily in this episode. Emily was not relevant for cour 1 and I do not get why they would introduce her so early when she only becomes relevant for the Workshop Battle. Also: No anime only remembers her and this 'new guy' from 5 episodes ago. Cour 2 starts next week.

Honestly, this animation studio sucked for the first cour of Season 2. There definitely needs to be an upgrade to a better studio with a better animation budget, because that's the #1 reason why this season was subpar. Skipping content due to time constraints is one thing, since damn near every studio has done that. But coupling that with subpar animation? Nah, fam, that's a bridge too far in my book. Their best parts were Episode 1 (which was alright) and the OP we got for this cour; that's it.
