The Workshop Olympics is Back and it's Still a Terrible Idea...

Hey everyone back with more Scrap Mechanic! Today we are back with the workshop olympics and 3 new events featuring land, sea and sky! In this set we'll compete in a ski jump, water race and a rock crawling contest to see who can find the best creations on the workshop!

@@kuttispielt7801 They have kinda done everything there is to do. I definitely understand why they don’t play it as much anymore, though I wonder if there are any mods that are as well done as the raft mod that they could play. Hopefully chapter 2 comes out before interest completely dies out

You guys should try some scrap mechanic survival challenges. Something like everyone goes around on their own and collects stuff, via killing bots or gather resources from around the world in general, for a certain amount of time (like an hour or whatever works) then you guys meet back up and each make creation (like a car or something) and then race/compete to see who made the best creation. You could do a lot of things you’ve done before, just scrap survival style. Hope this helps :) love the content you all put out! Keep on keepin on! :)

You guys should do a series of multiplayer mondays where you tell your discords what the challenge is going to be the next week and have them build your vehicles for you, like a crew of engineers for a race team.

Other olympic events: discus throwing, fencing, Super G (basically Zeepkist without wheels), Dive jumping (air control while falling and landing), reck gymnastics, ring gymnastcs, weight lifting, pole jumping, spear throwing, pool.

Great and super fun video. Maybe you can pick 3 instead of just one vehicle and test all and then chose one of them to compete against your friends. this is maybe less random but more competitive/fair.

Logging - Make a vehicle that can: 1) Cut down a tree (or have them pre cut, because Scrap Mechanic physics...) 2) Pick up the tree in log form (pieces and/or full tree, not refinable stick) 3) Stack them in a trailer (all same or build your own) 4) Tow trailer to designated point (maybe unload too) 5) First one to move "x" amount of each tree type to the unloading area wins (tree refining machine maybe)

I would like to see a different version of this hill climb, where you get the challenge, and the event starts IMMEDIATELY, so you can grab whatever you see and start, or spend more time looking for something good. But first to the top wins.

I think the main problem was that you all searched for wall climbers instead of proper hill / rock climbers. No wonder vehicles made for flat walls won't work on rocks.
