I'm From Wales UK. Recently I did a self guided tour of Eastern Oz on a HD Road Glide starting in Melbourne and finishing off in Brisbane. Grt Ocean Road, Grt Alpine Way, The Putty Road and many scenic roads in between. Because of Danny my first port of call after picking the Bike up (shout out to "Bike around Oz") was to visit Geelong HD !! and I wear my Geelong T with pride.

Rode to Cairns last year and I can assure you that it’s not only Victoria with dangerous potholes and surfaces. The far North Queensland roads were pretty good but I think that’s because of less traffic. I’ve seen small contractors repairing country Victorian roads that were damaged in less than a year. Lowest price contract doesn’t work. Keep up the great job you’re doing 👍

I wish every Harley dealership had a team like the guys (and gals) at Geelong. Collin and the boy are the best. I've tried to get a test ride at a couple different HD dealerships in the US and they weren't very open to it. I've still never ridden a Harley... not a modern one anyone. I've ridden some friend's vintage Harleys.

Apprenticeships are good, need guys like Col to teach the basics such as turning, fabricating and welding before the art of mechanics can be embedded into the mindset of anyone determined to become one. I trained as an electronics engineer at Uni because there were no apprenticeships were available. Its important not let young guys or girls be denied a trade.

Flogs, another great video. You're right, it's not just the pot holes but also the quick drop/rise in roads that hit you without warning. Maroondah Hwy, about 200m west of Ringwood Harley has one of them in the right lane. It will bounce you straight off your seat and is an accident waiting to happen. On the potholes..England UK has the same crap issues with poor roads maintenance.. we get taxed to death but the road surfaces try to kill you sooner.. some of the best road surfaces in Europe seem to be in Portugal.. beautiful scenery and awesome biking roads.

I can vouch for the customer service from Geelong Harley, a couple of weeks before Easter I was on my way to catch the Spirit of Tasmania ferry on my 98 Roadking Classic when we hit some major potholes and destroyed the rear wheel bearing. Mick the service manager waited back until 6:00pm for me on a Friday night to see if he could get it fixed so we could still make the ferry by 9pm. Unfortunately the damage was to extensive and required a new back wheel and swing-arm, but the help and follow up was excellent. Parts had to be sourced from USA, and I still need to check what beer Mick drinks so I can get him a slab; I think it was Millers Draught, maybe Andrea or Col could confirm?

on the 18 of april my son hit a pot hole on the mt dandenong tourist rd ,his front wheel lifted and he was speared into a tree. He was airlifted to the alfred ,unconscious critical but breathing ,his radiator cap popped on impact and he has burns on his abdomen that needed skin grafts he is still in hospilal after a second round of skin grafts. Two other motorcycle riders died that day so we consider ourselves lucky that he is still with us as doctors tell us it was touch and go for a while. both front forks snapped in half and his front rim was shattered . He was wearing one of those red checkered kevlar shirts that look cool but dont protect you from hot fluids eg coolant . we get into serious trouble if our bikes aren't roadworthy but the roads we ride on are unroadworthy.

Never happened on a bike but I had 3 blow-outs and 3 wheels damaged at the same time coming out of Gisborne just before the Calder freeway on ramp. Roadworks had failed and I hit potholes which were filled with water with rain passing down and a sheet of water across the road. Council didn't give a crap. Enough of my rant. Great show, actually more like 2 different shows. Cheers Men.

you really need to fix the audio on your interviews as it very difficult to hear anything over the echo Perhaps if you hang some curtains up in the room when you record to absolve the echo will help a lot more and this will bring you more subscribers and views in the long run

A little difficult to hang curtains in a working motorcycle shop, but we are definitely working on the audio. Going to try some new things in the studio so hopefully that will help. @@hogscogsandtwoaussieflogs I didn't know George that well I am from Vicksburg and bought some Yamaha's from M&M Cycle Kalamazoo.. In more recent years I started buying parts from George. He was an Interesting Character I wish I would have known him when I was younger.. I would have loved to know more about Flat Track racing ect.. I stopped at the Shop last Summer and it was locked up. I did a search online could not find any info.. I did see that George had a Federal Fires Arms License.. Had I know that I would have bought guns from him too. When I stopped Last Summer I wanted to tell George about a Motorcycle Museum in CT that busy classic Motorcycles.. George told me that he has 3 barns full of Motorcycles mostly he took them in as trade ins he told me. These Classic Motorcycles I think will loose value when the people who lusted for them when they were young die off.. Great Vlog, Colin is fantastic. As for discussing people offended by MDB he got myself and many here in the US pissed at his anti 2nd amendment and our border wall and why we need either. You’re country is surrounded by water and you have a wall and I have seen videos of how Australia is strict as heck on anyone coming in and you should be but would Danny like a border like ours, bet not. Now for the 2nd amendment it’s in our constitution and it’s there for a reason to stop crap like has been done to you guys, lockdowns being one. Danny may be a great guy but damn he should learn when to shut up especially when in a country not his own. Again, great video guys.

OK, I can’t speak for Danny. But one thing I have found is our countries ideas about gun ownership are just polar opposites. We don’t have guns, we don’t want them. It’s pretty much that simple for most ( not all) of us. That’s our choice and we are happy with it. The USA is a different country and your culture, history and thinking is very different to ours. I can see why you believe guns are necessary. Hell if I lived there I’d own one. Let’s face it even if you guys wanted to be gun free ( and that ain’t going to happen) it would be impossible to put that Genie back in the bottle so it’s a mute point. Safe to say most Aussies think Americans have ‘An unhealthy obsession with guns.” And most In the USA think we are oppressed by our Govt.” Neither true, we are just different countries with different priorities and different ways of thinking. I agree with your border comment. We have the best border possible, thousands of miles of ocean, and very strict border policies. Personally I can’t see why you wouldn’t build a bigger wall. Anyway, yes we are different in many ways but we are very much the same in many other ways. The only thing I would say is even those that disagree with you have a right, I believe you call it ‘Freedom of Speech.’ As I always say, “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, no matter how uneducated or stupid it is.” I’m heading over there for Sturgis shortly and can’t wait to get there. I love the American Mid West and it’s people, and the riding….well it’s just second to none. Hey thanks for watching and commenting. PD: Give Danny another shot, he really is a great guy.

Danny does care what other people think. That's why he continually trys to justify his actions to those who question it along with blocking people and deleting comments. That's not the behaviour of someone who doesn't care. As for what you see is what you get with him is also rubbish. He's a poser full of his own self importance. His whole persona/image/life has been created from an ego mindset which shows that he's not grounded or centred. Unless you're able to remove ego from your everyday life you'll never know who you really are. You'll just be like most people pretending to be something you're not and Hayes does that better than most.
