Ken. You must be from The west coast. I’m from Michigan. I never knew punk rock was even a thing back in the 70s or early 80s. I still like heavy metal but it’s Christian heavy metal. I’ve met Ted Nugent and seen all sorts of rock bands in the 70s and 80s. I was into the occult. I used to drink 3 cases of beer and did a bunch of LSD in all of those years. After I got born again I had demons in my basement. It was pure hell until the pastor that lead me to Jesus showed me how to get rid of them in Jesus Christ Holy name. It took me years to quit drinking and pain meds Etc etc. like you said it wasn’t easy. I’m not perfect but I know the one who is. Just like you brother.

I've a Baptist background. I asked Jesus into my heart, at home, by myself, on my knees, beside my bed, one Wednesday evening, at 7 yrs of age. My father was a Baptist preacher, had a Baptist church. I attended a Baptist college. Married a Baptist man, whose family were Baptist. I served on the Baptist church, raised my children in a Baptist church, on and on and on. I'm thankful for the Baptist. But I'm a non- denominational, spirit-filled, bible-toten, tongue-talkin- testifyin, miracle- believin, Jesus-healin, soul-winnin, devil- stompin, child of the King! I was blessed to run to a little Baptist preacher years ago, who taught about Genesis 1, vs 1-2 . Later on, my Baptist Sunday school teacher, called me out of the classroom and gave me scriptures on the Holy Spirit, and told me to go home and read them. Story short... I DID! That same Sunday, at 18 years of age, at home, on my knees, in front of the sofa, in tears of joy, I became filled with the Holy Ghost and fire, with evidence of speaking in tongues, a greater love of God for my fellowman, and forgiver of my abusers. This has led me to be the woman I am today! It has now been 62 yrs since I have accepted Jesus as my Saviour. I received the power of the Holy Spirit myself, at work at the age of 38 many years ago, when I was reading New age books and realize there was a conspiracy to deny the blood of Christ. I was from non church-going family but had a burning curiosity to know God since childhood. I love it that you understand it is when you went to God directly that you became a True Believer. No one could put doubts in your mind that there is a God any more than they could put doubts in your mind that two plus two equals four. The first thing I did after receiving the Holy Spirit was seek the truth on baptism. I knew that if I went to a church to be water baptized they would insist on me joining that church. So I began researching water baptism for the truth. I had doubts that I would find anything concrete but I am happy to say I was wrong. The scripture holistically shows that Jesus never commanded water baptism for the church age. I've scriptural proven this to Greek Scholars. John baptized old Covenant believers who repented of believing a corrupt system. John baptized in the wilderness not in Solomon's Temple. When researching the subject I was driving down the road one and the Holy Spirit put it on my mind because I wanted to know so badly, that Acts 2:38 contains the three baptisms. 1.Repent 2. Be baptized in (into) the NAME of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. 3. You'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The baptism into the body of Christ is by faith alone. In acts 9 all of those disciples that met up with Paul I've been water baptized by John but they weren't saved. Call baptized them into a name for salvation. He did not re water baptize them and chant a name or names over them. Gal.3:19 tells us why we don't need to follow the law of Moses. We don't need rituals and we don't need buildings❤ God bless you and don't stop seeking the Lord on all things

When Peter rebukes the Jews in Acts about mocking those speaking in tongues, (actual language that can be understood by an interpreter)Peter explains this is a message from the Holy Spirit, that can be understood and must have an interpreter present, who can speak and relay the Holy message in that foreign tongue! Paul of Tarsus references receiving the gift of speaking in tongues in His New Testament writings, and explains there must always be an interpreter present! The Holy Spirit speaks through mankind, we do not conjure The Holy Spirit at Will! His Will is His own, in His time, and for His purpose only! Jesus spoke to those He taught in parables, and when He was asked by His disciples why, His answer was clear! I implore you to search The Gospels for the truth! Don’t take someone else’s explanation, please pray for proper discernment from God, of and by the Holy scriptures! May God guide you to the truthful answers, not man’s will, but God’s Will be done! Can someone explain why Dr. Ollison believes Jer. 4:23 is a reference to the past condition of the earth? I know he references the two words from Gen. 1:2: tohuw and bohuw. But here, is this not just a euphemistic reference to the type of destruction that Jeremiah sees in his vision? I don't see anything in the previous verses that indicates that Jerimiah is speaking of a time prior to the Creation and in fact I read this as looking into the future.

Indeed! I have been waiting on this. I have been aware of ancient civilizations for decades and as I was watching the Graham Hancock series on Netflix, I asked the Holy Spirit what was the truth behind all these ancient structures and the great cataclysm which predated the flood. It's funny that you wrote this because I to around 50 years ago probably longer but not by much. I was led almost by a force (?) TO a Old woman. Actually several older women who held a Bible study lessen every Thursday after school. They would stand around at the major crossing Guard would stand with their little badges and orange vests. They would stand there with signs that said basically that they were holding a Bible study for one hour and if you attend you will receive a nice snack afterwards. ( THEY would give away Ice cream Sundays. Or Dilly bars ALWAYS something special. And children love FOOD can not get enough. Anyway I attended every single week and the main Teacher was a genius when it came to speaking about the word of God. Her theory was THIS EXSACTLY. And the one I formed myself. As She once described the book of " REVALUATION " I not only pictured this in my own mind but I somehow KNEW right then THAT I WOULD LIVE TO SEE THIS UNFOLD IN MY LIFE TIME!! And now that they are finding ALL OF THESE LOST CIVILIZATIONS AND HOW MODERN THEY ARE? AND OLD REALLY REALLY OLD. . Anyway your testimony moved me. Thank you

The 1st great flood and civilisations before Adam & Eve I believe & knew it from before. Our earth is definitely more than 6,0000 years but surely mankind must be around 6,0000 years. "The End" was 2,000+ yrs ago. Jesus is the Firstborn from the dead and mankind is included.

My Bible does not say, "the earth became formless and void". It says " and the earth was without form, and void". That's a big difference. I to was trying to resolve the time issue, God just directed me to Genesis, six days. I have no clue what else God has created other than what He says in the Bible. We can speculate or imagine all we want, but that doesn't make it true.

the word 'was' is hayah in the Hebrew = to exist i.e. be or become. come to pass. it was Hebrew before it was English. the earth became " to lie waste as a desolation of surface" tohu. " an indistinguishable ruin" bohu. how can something have a surface if it is "without form"? where did the water come from? " and the Spirit moved upon the face of the water".

These and many other truths continue to be taught by his son Dennis at Shepherd’s Chapel Church and broadcast around the world I’ve only recently discovered Pastor Ollisons studies on creation and am always cautious in wishing anyone God Speed in a world so full of false teachers but it is certainly refreshing to see a teacher taking the time rightly divide the Word of God. What I don’t understand is at 39:00 he states he believes Lucifer’s fall created a flood which destroyed a Pre-Fall civilization. But that would mean God destroyed an entire civilization just to punish Lucifer which doesn’t sound like God. God always gives a reason for destroying something or someone. What did the Pre-Fall civilization do to deserve destruction? They had to have done something.

Oh my. So much to unpack here. I'll just highlight a few important points: Scripture dictates that we use the Word for teaching, *for reproof* (means rebuke) *for correcting* (like this video) and for training in righteousness. So Yes, we ARE instructed to stand up for the truth against those that do not teach Truth. Which is the purpose of my post. 1. The Apostle Luke explains our lineage crystal clear in Luke 3:23-38. It doesn’t say we're descendants of Noah. Luke places Adam at the head of our genealogical sequence. Each person listed in those verses trace their descendants from Adam- that includes Jesus in the last verse. Luke doesn't say Jesus is a descendant of Noah. Christ is a descendant of Adam! Adam is a type of Christ (Romans 5:12-21) because Adam had no earthly father and Jesus had no earthly father. So, if Jesus is proclaimed to be a descendant of Adam, so are we! Who were Noah's descendants? ADAM. 2. Each day created was a 24-hour day. Stretching that as more is called the Gap Theory, which is incorporating evolution into scripture and heresy. Exodus 20:11 says God created heaven, earth & the sea *in six days and rested on the seventh.* The question isn't "what does it say?" The question here is "Do You Believe What It Says?" If there is a gap of time between the verses, then this is not *THE seventh day* as Exodus 20:11 says. There is a scriptural pattern here. Exodus 31:17 says "…in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on THE seventh day he rested." Genesis 2:3 "THE seventh day." Hebrews 4:4 "THE seventh day." You either believe what it says, or you don't want to. 3. If God created EVERYTHING in six days, does that include Lucifer and the angels? (Yes, it does) If someone says Lucifer fell before the creation in a Pre-Adam civilization, they already have a conflict with Exodus 20:11. This is how we know there was No Pre-Adamite people/beings. Romans 5:12 says by one man sin came into the world & death by sin. There is an ordained order: sin then death. Death reigned from Adam to Moses. 1 Corinthians 15:21-2 By man came death. The Bible's real clear. So, if there was a pre-Adamite civilization & those beings died when Lucifer fell from heaven - you now have death BEFORE sin. That's backwards & a clear heresy. Not at all what the Bible teaches. 4. Genesis 1:1 " In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." In the beginning (time) created heaven (space) and earth (matter). There's our science. Time began in Genesis 1:1. There was no "time" before that. I believe what it says. God did not need "time" to create what he did in Genesis 1. He spoke it into existence in an instant. Psalm 33:9 "For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast." Romans 4:17 "…and calls into being the things that do not exist." I mean, we live in a single spoken sentence: universe. As Christians, we are to defend & stand up for the Truth. 2 Timothy 4:1-4 we're told to be prepared for opportune or inopportune; confront, rebuke for complete teaching. Yes, Sin came first from Adam and then death through Adam according to Romans 5:12 says by one man sin came into the world (Adam) and 1 Corinthians 15:21-22. There is an ordained order: sin then death. So if Lucifer was here Before Adam & fell before Adam was created, then that’s in direct conflict with those verses. Because now you have death before Adam through Lucifer. This video starts out by saying we’re all descendants of Noah, not Adam. That’s incorrect according to what Luke wrote in Luke 3:23-38 where he has a long list of genealogies & in verse 38 says Jesus is a descendant of Adam. He doesn’t say Jesus is a descendant of Noah. We are all descendants of Adam, not Noah. I mean, who is Noah descended from? Adam. This video is complete heresy to Gods Word and order. 24 minutes in and I as I read Jeremiah 4, I began to wonder if he was prophesying of something in the future or past. Maybe it was something he saw that would happen in the future. I don't know. Jeremiah 4:27 says "....The whole land shall be..." so that's speaking of the future. Now, perhaps the future can be as the past, but I believe Jeremiah was speaking of the future. Maybe Jeremiah saw what the Lord might do, or perhaps wanted to do, to show the people the way things were in his sight, yet the Lord said he would not make a full end. Maybe what Jeremiah saw was what a full end might look like.

I think God creating the earth without form and void isn't a commentary of the imperfection of God's creation. If God created the earth without form and void then to me, that's absolutely perfect. This guy is projecting his sensibilities on how God does His business. I agree with the Apostle Paul, "Can the creature say to the Creator, 'Why hast thou made me thus?' No. God did a wonderful job creating the universe and no creature may find fault with it (in my humble opinion). There is plenty wrong with his doctrine. But, by the same token, the bible does NOT say, "there was no death before Adam sinned". You cannot find that specific doctrine in the scriptures. The reason Adam and Eve died is because of a (for want of a better term) vitamin deficiency. In other words, there is something in the Tree of Life that allowed these people to live forever and as long as they had access to that Tree, they lived. The day that they were disconnected to whatever nutrient that was, they, in effect, died. When Adam sinned, then death entered into the world. NOT GENERAL DEATH. In other words, plants and animals were dying all around these two people the whole time. In fact, if they hadn't ever seen anything die, how could they have understood the consequence of their disobedience. They saw things die. They understood what that meant and so the threat of death was real to them. It is not against scripture to say that there was death in the world before Adam sinned. It is indeed against scripture to say that MAN died before sin entered into the world and the passages you cited are perfect. Both of those passages are specifically talking about MAN dying - not gorillas, and tigers and such. Romans 5:12 - Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Death passed upon all CREATURES? No. Upon all MEN. Romans 5 does not support the doctrine that nothing died before Adam sinned. (I'm the kind of guy who tends to read what's there and not what I want to be there.) 1 Cor 15:21-22 - For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. If we read "animals" into that passage then we need to also assume that Jesus purchased the resurrection from the dead for animals. The context falls apart if we try to insert animals into that equation. Jesus died and rose for humans and not trees and bugs and dogs and cats. In a sense, we diminish what Jesus did for US when we try to include all of creation. In Adam, death passed to all MEN. Don't read critters other than humans into that. If we're just going by what is written, this has to be our doctrine. I know this tends to mess up your entire world view. The Answers in Genesis folks are all hung up on this thing. But neither you nor they have given me scriptural evidence of what is being claimed. I hate to be such a stubborn fundamentalist but I've learned to "watch my doctrine". It is SO easy to go off the rails in this thing.

I keep hearing “the earth ‘became’ formless and void, I assume this is the NMV Bible since that’s what I got when I looked it up. All other versions of the Bible says the earth ‘was’ formless and void, as if it was just like that before. If someone can explain this and maybe tie this whole thing together with the other translation I would appreciate it
