I loved this song when I was 17...was the closet to blues i could get...so many memories..we always let the good ones die...not this one!!...we were starry eyed then and searching for whatever made us feel good..but don't you know that me for me the world was a ghetto already...I just might find paradise at 50...sweet!

Thanks for letting us know about thr LOWRIDER BAND> I did not know this. So many artists from the 60's and 70's got screwed by not being paid their royalties and receiving their recognition. Chamber Brothers is one of them. Lester is finally being abducted into the Hall of Fame . His son Dylan Chambers is now an artist. His band is Dylan Chambers and the Midnight Transit.. I respectfully disagree with you RamDanceMan. The Reggae spin on this song in my opinion losses all of the meaning behind the song! I do like Reggae but strongly believe this is the superior version of the song!
