this piece symbolizes the journey of reclaiming one's life and stepping into personal power. it's a story of finding truth in a world that is sometimes discouraging. it's an exploration of unlearning and effort, peace and growth, meaningful living and purpose. life is a journey, and the world is ours- the possibilities are endless.
this was my first time performing on stage since the pandemic and the emotions, gratitude, and release i felt were unreal. this choreography is also a culmination of me coming into my own voice as a creator. i truly felt like myself, dancing this dance.
