I have often wondered if Jerry would run anything else besides a dozer. I have come close to asking a few times. Part of the reason I have not is because I have worked with several operators who are really good on one type of machine only and an absolute liability on nearly everything else. Absolutely delighted to see Jerry handling an excavator with such skill and ease!

That looked good. I have a project for MBTS when he comes back. Get a piece of T1 or a cutting edge to make a blade for your digging bucket. Make it a couple inches wider than the bucket to clean out corners. Depending on bucket width weld about three or four teeth to it and you can remove the teeth of your bucket and install the cutting edge on it. It will give you a perfect smooth finish like a grading bucket. A lot of the basements we dug we ramped down and loaded the truck inside the house foot print. Obviously, you had a daylight basement and plenty of room around it.

Enjoy seeing Jerry on the job! One of the things that will take a clutch brake out faster than anything is pushing the clutch all the way to the floor while the truck is still moving. I don't how many brakes I have had to replace because a driver comes flying up to a stop and pushes to clutch clear to the floor and there goes the brake. I am sure that I am not telling you anything that you did not already know.
