I thought I'd point out that a benefit of the larger battery, besides long range, is related to the longer lifespan of the battery. Because battery cells are rated for a limited number of charging cycles, a bigger battery like this one has results in far fewer charging cycles per year vs. a smaller battery over the same distances. Consequently this battery should last far longer and result in a lower life-cycle cost for this bike vs. the typical e-bike with a much smaller battery that needs battery replacement at a higher frequency.
@tdgdbs1 Жыл бұрын
Not mentioned what kind of cells are in the battery.
@ChristmasEve777 Жыл бұрын
Very true - everything you just said. But what would be even better than that are many smaller batteries that are included that you can rotate through, because the weight of this massive battery impacts range. But that's if battery life is the only thing that's important to you. If you need that super long range because you will not be returning home to switch batteries (or trying to carry more with you) then this mammoth is your best option.

Update: I cannot figure out how to disable this cruise control crap. Exactly what I figured happened. I let off the throttle before hitting a pot hole, it didn't slow down, I panicked and hit the pothole full speed.

Not happy with Aniioki right now.. I purchased a second AQ177, pretty sure they sent me a faulty battery as fully charged it displays 51.8v? Not only that, but not the motor makes a clicking noise on startup load… 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

For a bike like this, I would get the Shanko 241 or 244 motorcycle wheels so you don't have to worry about flats and slippage in wet weather.

Can you put motorcycle tires on ebike rims?
@vcancer Жыл бұрын
@@michaeljohn7467 Yes! The ones I listed above are two from the company Shinko. I got the 244 and there great on the road even on wet surface. . And are good also for off road. Some people get the 241 since they mostly ride on the road. They are both front and back tires so it doesn't matter which rim their on. They run about $51 dollars each tire on Amazon. Other places might have it for $70 and up. Size for the tire is 3.00 x 16. Motorcycles measure the rim size of the wheel not the wheel itself. You would have to get new tubes for them too. The old one will be too big for the new tires. The ones I got was the HIAORS 3.00-16 3.25/3.50-16 Motorcycle Inner Tube With Straight Valve Stem. Hope this info helps.
@wesleygaitan Жыл бұрын
@vcancer hello are you saying we cannot use the tubes that come with the a7?
@vcancer Жыл бұрын
@@wesleygaitan if the wheels are 4 inch wide the tube will also be bigger to accommodate. The Shanko wheels are 3 inch wide so the match to would be required. The tubes have a Straight metal Valve Stem that you screw down to the rim so you don't have to worry about it going into the rim when inflating.

@@ilovetacos210 If you are desperate, you can change the controller but a new controller means you need a new display as well that follows the same protocol as the controller. A new controller isn't that expensive. Better yet, I would take a look at the wires on the controller, it's possible the cruise control wiring is there and you can just unplug it.
