This work should get more attention, love its concept, this will be a game changer for solving food crisis if it gets adapted everywhere in the world. And I had no idea it even existed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention

"We would only need to convert the rooftops of 19 average-sized shopping centers to grow enough veggies for all of Montreal. " I didn't know they had the largest rooftop greenhouse 😄 Wow 💗🔥 I imagine enough rooftop or large-scale greenhouses in Montéal to feed the whole city. These systems extending into the whole province too. It's been a long-time vision for these places. Thanks for shining a light on what's up here!

Important innovations and a fun video. As much as I’m sure you’re eager to get out and travel internationally again, I really appreciate how you’re highlighting special and lesser-known nuggets about Montreal (selfishly I’m grateful because Montreal is my favorite city and I always want more MTL content). Cheers!

That was very cool!! And I DO think it is a very plausible idea for the future. As our world population continues to explode, there WILL be less and less space to grow food.

There’s another rooftop greenhouse like that in Laval-thought it was the largest but thus one must be bigger

Stretching the boundaries of where certain foods can be grown is 100% where we need to head. Look up Tropiterranean crowd farming

@TheNewTravel3 жыл бұрын
To make it very simple for you I would say... If you want a modern city near the mountains go with Calgary. If you want an older city that has more people and more activities go with Montreal.

It's very impressive, I've visited their first rooftop farm, too and have been a customer with them for a while. Even though we actually order more from their partners. Btw, if you live in Quebec and like this type of thing, consider opening an RRSP with the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. Gets you a higher RRSP credit (from QC) too and if I remember correctly, they invested in Lufa.
