Starbucks just opened its biggest location in the world on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile. It’s the newest of six Reserve Roasteries, and boasts 5 stories of coffee, cocktails, baked goods, and other treats. Other Starbucks Reserve Roastery locations include New York City, Milan, Tokyo. Insider was there for opening day, and caught up with some of the hundreds of people waiting in line to try seven different coffee-brewing methods and other drinks you can’t get anywhere else.

I've been spending my money at Starbucks for years and these past few months I just can't justify spending my money on over brewed coffee and burnt tasting espressos anymore. I now spend my money at a small family owned coffee shop who still knows how to brew a decent cup of coffee. The people who run it are very genuine and care a lot about the coffee industry.

Why is everyone hating in the comments? Starbucks is all about the experience and this is another example of why I love their brand and product. In college, I was a barista because I truly felt for the Starbucks brand, a brand that takes care of its employees and delivers exceptionally warm customer experience. This store in Chicago is amazing and I can’t wait to visit!

I live about 2 and a half hours away from there. I will have to check this place out next time I am in the area. It looks like somewhere I'd enjoy exploring (at least once in a while). I live 10 blocks from this store but still haven’t yet been there because there’s a long line just to enter the door. Like I am waiting for iPhone or Black Friday. Waiting over a hour to enter a joint you will only be in there for 5-10mins is nuts. Rush street store which is 7 blocks south has most of what rostery store has but alcohol and extra baked goods.
