That's pretty cool as a concept. The issue I see with it is that 3D prints are NOT food safe due to having millions of tiny gaps between the layer lines. I know injection moulding is expensive but it's less expensive than giving 200 people food poisoning

And before anyone says you can wash it, you can't. Soap will not get into all the cracks and if the infill is ANYTHING below 100%, there will always be areas inside the parts which CANNOT be safely washed. Even with 100% infill there will always be gaps between the layer lines and each individual stream of plastic the printer lays down. You will not be able to reliably tell if you have drained all the parts internals. As well, you can't use steam to clean them, as thermo plastics they would become very pliable and would likely melt, ruining any seals or tight tolerances.

@@Big-E-TheBouncer which is exactly opposite of what you want when you go out. The preparation of the ingredients is one of the most important aspects of the quality of a meal. Vegetables start browning and loosing freshness when cut. Typically bagged veggies are applied with chemicals to prevent browning. Not to mention that the veggies on the bottom of the tubes are being squashed under the pressure of the vegetables above it, further lowering their quality. This also limits what you can actually “top” the salad with. Robotic kitchens are a good idea, eventually. But this is just a conveyor belt with multiple automatic dog food dispensers on it. A true robotic kitchen would actually PREPARE the foods.
