If we believe what they tell us, that ferris wheel axle was at the time the largest single steel piece ever forged in the world. It weighed 70 tons. 140,000 lbs lifted 140 feet into the air with ropes and pulleys. No cranes were large enough or rail cars to move it across the country to get it to Chicago, then stl across the Mississippi river. It couldnt cross any bridge at this time. It had to go by barge. No one has any records on how it was moved

All the buildings were temporary because they ran out of time and it was turning back into a park after the Fair? C'mon is that the best they have? Seems entirely unbelievable to me.

If you watch this documentary and did a bit of research, it does a pretty good job explaining it. Most World Fairs were built just to last the few months that they would be open and running. They used staff, which is an artificial stone made of plaster, to make the columns and the grand buildings. They are literally wooden frames covered in staff to make them look like stone and marble. It would be silly to build such grand buildings that wouldn't have much use after the fair was done. The same was done with the Chicago's World Fair in 1893 and the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco in 1915. Some buildings are made to be permanent buildings but most of them weren't meant to last through winter. Even the Worlds Fair in Chicago in 1893 opened a year late due to construction setbacks. It was supposed to celebrate the 300 year anniversary of Columbus "finding" America in 1892, but it opened in 1893. I highly recommend the documentary Expo- Magic of the White City. It does a great job explaining the building of the fair and how it was made. It might answer some questions you may have.

@@khatirobinson6392 This is the official explanation for most of the old world expos doesn't require much research does it?. Yet fire damage was more often than not the cause for the actual demise of these buildings that were often built from brick as well as stucco and other "temporary" materials. The Chicago world's fair of 1893 holds mystery that cannot be explained and evidence such as an existing cobbled foreshore and photo manipulation (See Latent Lexicons multiple hour breakdown), contradictory narratives; serve to deepen many's thoughts about what was really there before 1893. The Garden Palace Sydney Expo of 1879 - another fire destroyed building.. is deeply mysterious and all but forgotten in time. If anything its great imo it has people researching these historic events and understanding what our forefathers got up too. We know information can get manipulated and humans are greedy and lie so i take nothing for granted. I have watched 20+ hours now of these docos and love them its a great little rabbit hole.

It is nonsense! They found them that way. They added some junk. And painted them. You can't build those in two years. Then just destroy them in six months! Ridiculous! They were from the Millennial Reign of Christ. And we're in the short season of Satan loosed again to deceive. Rev 20

In some of the photos you can see how old, aged, and weathered these solid stone structures were when the pictures were taken !

At 4 mins 14 seconds, the plant growth on the stone curve just above the water level takes years, as in many years to form. Far older than they say 😊

We don't understand how something was done, so it has to be an ancient extinct empire? And the Second World War was really the "Grindelwald Revolution"? And Adolf Hitler wasn't really that bad a guy just put under Grindelwalds spell? I don't understand how one man could possibly do so much good for his country but also be involved in so much horrible evil that he must have been put under a "Spell" and when the "Spell" was finally broken he committed suicide out of grief???? 😂 okay well thats about as ridiculous as some of these conspiracy theories i wasted time looking up....
