OMG, That was freaking Awesome! A private Magician's Collection & to go underground no less via an old elevator.. How honored, #Jacob, You must have felt to document what most people don't see let alone even know it's there... Thanks to the Gentlemen that gave a Private Tour.. Holy Cow, that was just sooo Awesome! ; D

The Osterlind coin bend has perplexed magicians for decades. Even though many perform a similar feat, Osterlind's frys everyone. I didn't know anyone had a solution anywhere since Osterlind has said that he was taking this one secret to his grave.

I live close to that place. Years ago I was in Klostermans home when he lived on Smith Rd in Goshen Ohio. I was an inspector at the time and I remember how nice the house was and I fell in love with the kitchen. LOl

I wonder if these guys have provenance for each piece in this collection!
@daverogers90385 жыл бұрын
This is a very heavily researched collection. It is also used by many magic historians and writers. I am sure that the provenance isn't iron-clad on some of the pieces, but considering the subject and age, as thorough a job as is possible has been done.

11:37 - 11:45 Anyone understand what he was saying?
@daverogers90385 жыл бұрын
Yes. All of the circles would originally have the green side facing the audience. As the performer would produce a billiard ball, the performer would act like he was putting the produced ball into the ring, but instead would turn the green disk over so that it looked like a ball was in the ring. The performer could then proceed to use the same one real ball to produce it again and again. The result is that you could produce many balls while actually having to manipulate only one.
