The ghost on ALL Koenigsegg cars were the logo of the fighter squadron that were stationed in the building/(hangar) where the cars are built. It was a military base called Skånska flygflottiljen / Scania Wing (F-10). Before Försvarsmakten (Swedish Defense Forces) closed the military base in 2002. So it's a tribute to the ghost fighter squadron which dates back to 1942.

@noyan17 Of course of course, I've always been familiar with the GT MR line in that they're not fitted on the production line. If i can return to my train of thought i believe i was just referring to the "production vehicle" mention in terms of the MR kits being able to be added when configuring, just as it is with the rest of the 'normal' production vehicles. But yes, regarding the actual build, tuning, service, there's quite a few options as you've previously mentioned. PC's, MR shops, licensed dealers etc, either way it's great to see those Manthey guys getting so much more of the attention & exposure they so rightly deserve. The ability to take a GT model, a machine that's already so extremely dialed in right up to the line of near perfection, and squeeze as much more out of it that they do, is something of an art form. Defies alot of logic that a car can be that good and still be street legal with AC & car play haha. I'm being facetious but you get what I'm saying. When i worked at a audi dealership i got the privilege to drive quite a few RS6 Avants and there definitely alot of car for the money. Even stock 650 hp twin turbo V8 its alot of fun to drive and its practical to drive everyday in pretty much any weather love em. The building had been home to the fighter squadron Johan Röd ("Juliett Red" translated to NATO alphabet), and their emblem was still on the wall: A ghost with the legend "The Show Must Go On". The difference between the two cameras in colors is huge. The GT2RS footage really makes this stand out. I am guessing it is Miami blue and the main camera is picking it up correctly. 9:25 Pretty close but a lot missing: It is a tribute to the Ghost Squadron, fighter pilots from the Swedish Air Force. The reason that Koenigsegg carries the Ghost is because after one of the Koenigsegg factories burned down, they acquired the abandoned airfield of the Ghost Squadron as their new facility! They moved into one of the two large fighter-jet hangars as well as an office building that was converted into a car factory.
