I got my current cell number back in 2001 and it's never changed even though I switched providers twice. So if anyone has gotten my number on their phone or in an old address book since the millennium began, it'll still reach me. 😂

Cold calling / Telemarketing is illegal in Germany. And thank f**k for that, judging by what I hear / see from other countries 😀 The only companies, that may be allowed (if I opt in) to call me about new contracts and offers, are companies I already have a contract with. The question if I want to allow them to contact me is part of the sign up process.

What do you mean you went to college. How long was the course. Seems like you just started. In the US, you join the electrical union, it's a 5 yr. apprentice program. But you have both field and classroom training. You would rotate between different contractors during this time and get paid while learning in the field. Thats the only way to learn, hands on training. Your apprentice pay increases as you go through the training. By the end of the 5fth yr. you'll be making journeymen wages.
