Very well done! I bought one Dec’23 and absolutely LOVE it. As you mention, it is not a car for long road trips. Lexus does offer the Lexus Reserve program, which allows you to get a free loaner for up to 30 days within 3 years. That will certainly take care of any road trips I would be taking. I do have a level 2 charger for home and charge maybe once a week. We still own the Lexus RX350 and would probably take that on long trips after 3 years. Just love the Lexus quality and reliability!

And that bee was a totally new but brilliant addition. How you managed to make it look so natural Howard was truly astonishing. I hope to see the Bee again in later videos 8-))... As for the car. It looks really nice. But then I like this new Lexus styling. And of course, being a Lexus, you won't have any problems. Great video Mr. Richie... _And Bee!_ 8-))...

This is a lovely car for driving around town and here in the US you can pick them up fairly cheaply used with low miles. However, if Toyota really cared, this would be a great all around car. The battery is a bit of a tip off, it’s smaller than all the competition at least the competition here, and most people do care about range so that’s a pretty big drawback. When Toyota wants to make a good EV we’ll know it.

Wonderful review. That range wouldn't do for a business car. As you say, it would be the ultimate tootling car if you just use it for town driving.

No rear wiper!..ionic 5 tried that...now they fit one on the new one! This car needs a rear wiper.

Disappointing crash test scores compared to the Germans.

How did you figure that? The only German electric car tested at the same standard with ENCAP is the EQE which got about the same score. Both got 5 stars. The 2023 tests cannot be compared with previous years as they made the scoring harder.

@@steve8510 Thanks for pointing out this website - I'm in Europe so I use the EuroNCAP site - always good to compare. But I'm still not seeing these disappointing results. It gets the top rating 'good' or 'superior' in every category except the headlines, and in Europe the car has different matrix headlights.

@@steve8510 It's also awarded the top 'prize' by IIHS as 'Top Safety Pick +'. There are things I can fault this car for (too similar to bZ4X, battery too small, charging speed) but safety is not one of them
