Please don't jump all over me for saying this. I'm just conveying my honest reaction. It makes me upset thinking how many animals have experienced brutal, painful deaths that are far from quick. They didn't just get killed in a painful way, they got killed in a slow and drawn-out painful way. Meaning they suffered for a long time in excruciating pain before finally bleeding out. And as if the prolonged and painful suffering prior to death wasn't horrifying enough, this kind of death gets even more upsetting when you consider that the animal ALSO experiences sheer terror in it's final moments. So they die slowly, they die in pain, and they die absolutely terrified. It makes me question God, to be honest. I am really struggling to reconcile this kind of horrifying death happening over and over, thousands of times a day, every day, for millions of years straight, and for what? It's difficult for me to reconcile how a "loving" God could design all life on this planet with intent, with an all-knowing plan, when that plan included so much suffering and so many slow and painful deaths. Certainly an all powerful God was just as capable of designing life in a way that did not include so much needless suffering and pain. What do the horrible deaths of animals in the wild accomplish? What difference does it make if these deaths are quick with little to no suffering? Why make a plan that includes suffering prior to death? I mean, what difference would it make if all animal kills were fast and virtually painless? What is accomplished by slow painful deaths that wouldn't be able to happen if those same deaths were not so terrible? Why is the suffering part of the plan? Especially when it doesn't need to be that way! I know the statements above probably come across as disjointed but this is difficult for me to articulate. I just really have trouble with this. So much suffering and fear. For what? Why?

Watched a documentary on African Wild dogs and the way they attack with coordination, and team work,i can easily see their successful hunts are at 81%, while the lions in 17%!! When they're chasing a prey over a long distance, one team chases and attacks,when they get tired another team w/full strength attacks.(they had basically been jogging behind but chose) When they do catch it, they'll grab and hold on to it's snout while others start attacking it's soft spots, around three belly & ESPECIALLY their ASS!! They will literally tear their ass up so fast, there will be little left of it's innards and the prey will STILL be standing up.
