Its already been classified as an Electeic Motorcycle. When they first came out they had the 750watt limiter to comply with the law. Thats how it was an ebike class 3. Now they just come out as a dirt bike / offroad use only. It says it on the offical site that it is not street legal. California is cracking down on this bike. So befor you ride on the streets check your local state law to see if they allow this on the road.

If everyone rode these in a responsible manner (when in front of the general public) we would be able to use these without having dumb regulations. @@375Cheytac they always had ebike laws befor the sur ron. I bought my first ebike back in 2017. Always knew about the 750watts 20-28mph limit. That's why I believe in calling it a loop hole bike. If you cap it at 20-28mph I wouldn't care heck it doesnt bother me if it had 5000watts. But if your on the street at least respect the law of the 28mph and when you find a place that allows yea go all out 50+ if you want.

The laws have always been on the books since before the Sur Ron came out, but it was one of those things the police didn’t really enforce because there wasn’t really a need to enforce it. But when people start doing wheelies while lane splitting or hitting 30 mph on the sidewalk, well, now they care to enforce the laws. My concern is that they might just outright ban them all together (or the sale of any e bike greater than 750 watts is required to be sold as a motorcycle) if they become too much of a nuisance.

​@@guillaumequevy41830kW is peak the battery can discharge fully in 6 minutes 10C ... even EV's with very advanced cooling (big radiators, heat pump etc) using close to 50% battery in 7min are pushing the limits of batteries. I would say even a much smaller battery, with passive cooling won't discharge in less than 15-20 minutes.

I really like fast bikes. I like to get one myself the more people modify their bikes and make it go fast. Like scooters and mopeds back in the past you don't require license plates. Now, you have to register them and must have license plate on them. I will guarantee they will push all e-bikes to have plates soon. There will people be complaining about them and people going really fast. Especially, if someone goes on a bike trail and hit high speeds. Love your videos having a bike capable of hitting high speeds are really amazing.

They made the surron street legal on europe but it only does 30 mph Really wouldn't trust an ebike going faster than 40, it is not like the moped manufacturers that they give you a bike designed to go at speeds of at least 90mph so no sketchy reinforcements or disc brake adaptations when you install a big bore kit

What's good with the new gle sotion I wonder what speed you could get out of it if you re-geared it to approx 2:1 gear ratio like I did with my scooter i accomplished 50mph from a 3kw my1020 with 15t drive and 34t running sprocket and still has sick torque acceleration on a 120lb scooter if you're a speed enthusiast like I am maybe play with it and see what you can get out of it would love to know because I am thinking on buying god mode myself.....

The only one that goes that fast out of the box is the Onyx RCR I think. Expensive though. Like $6000 but it's an actual ebike with pedal assist. I don't think there's anything else that even comes close. The Talaria xxx is only half that price around $3000 but it only goes like 47mph and it doesn't have pedals.
