My local amusement park, Kings Island and its sister park, Kings Dominion, both have replicas of the Eiffel Tower, but they are painted with a more green hue similar to what the Statue of Liberty looks like. They’re the centerpieces of the park, much like the castles of various Disney Parks. I’ve never really found why they chose replicas of the tower as symbols of the park, since the parks don’t have much else relating to French heritage that I know of. It might be because the hub area was designed to resemble Paris, but I don’t think that’s the reason.

I've been to Tokyo Tower and the Tokyo Skytree. Both are impressive and it's a bit surreal seeing the other from the observation decks of the one you're in. Something about maps and public transit times don't really sink in for me as far as exactly how far it is from point A to point B. So seeing the actual distance between the 2 from that high up is just amazing. But I'd totally agree that Tokyo Tower is Japan's Eiffel Tower as far as the design goes.
