Cool device, thanks for showing it. As far as insulation, I would check the electrical boxes in the attic first. A little bit of the orange fire resistant foam in the spaces where the wires go and the gap around the perimeter will help with keeping heat from entering your living spaces. You may need a box then foam around the bathroom fan. Last and more expensive, check into fiberglass roll or blown insulation. A thermo regulated attic vent fan will help too.
