It looks like a great conversation. I just started it and the guest got me hooked when he started addressing women’s issues and their life in Pakistani society. At least in urban Indian middle and lower middle classes, this has been steadily improving over the last 4-5 decades. Hardcore adherence to religion is a impediment to social and gender progress, I believe.

What an irony!!!??? These guys are saying India has nothing great. They are same like Pakistan. Do you know India has grown consistently above 7% GDP since 1999 until today? Do you know India has reduced its poverty drastically and eradicated extreme poverty entirely? Do you know how much India has been getting FDI since economic liberalization since 1991? Do you know India's population has stabilized and will eventually start going down in the years to come whereas Pakistan's population is growing exponentially? More population and less resources - you know what problems you will face in such a situation. You guys have a skewed view about India and think that world has misunderstood India. Basically you want other countries to view India as how you see it. Without correcting yourself, you want to build image of Pakistan around the world. What have you done special to be recognized by western countries??? Just because major cities are polluted in India does not mean Pakistan is a country to be revered. India is working hard to reduce pollution. Take my word, India will be on a next level in a decade's time and you will be left way behind and you will realize what India did differently.

Talha - you need to open your mind. You represent the Pakistani mindset. Even today there is no realization about the reasons that have totally grounded Pakistan. India has moved far ahead and the quality of life here is far better. Acknowledging the reality with humility is a great sign of progress. Unfortunately, your mindset prevents from making progress. There are reasons why key Muslim countries are much closer to India than Pakistan. Just our airports are enough to highlight the gaps between India and Pakistan.

*_I heard a lots of Podcasts from Pakistan. I also followed the election manifesto & leaders views. I heard their ministers, financial experts._* *_I always feel like they're all beyond world class. They speak like they know all the problems & their best solution. When I hear their ideas, their plans, i feel like, wow, they're smarter than smartest. It feels like now Pak is going to leave everyone behind in development. I feel amazed._* *_But, when it comes to reality. Nothing works, nothing happens on-ground. Same problem, same issues._* *_I'm still confused. Pak people have really great ideas? Or, they're just a good orator that they mesmerize with their talks?_* *_I mean, in India, with good educational institutes, US support, IT industries, experts, stable government, foreign investments. We're unable to reduce unemployment at large scale._* *_But, when I hear Pak experts, I always get convinced that now Pak is going to leave everyone behind. Whatever growth India has shown in last 20 years, Pak is going to get it in 2-3 years. They way these experts put their points are really impactful. I don't know, if they have learnt to use fancy pessimistic convincing words or what. I am confused._*

These are a bunch of people who know how to motor their mouth. That's it. Pakistanis are into short cuts, waiting for a Messiahs and trading self respect for some money.

In Pakistan, it is always talk never any action because action means trouble. No body wants to disturb the Gen Sab who is snoring in his seat. No body wants to suggest any Sheriff or Bhutto to keep away from Power. They are the ants searching for the sugar of Power.
