I think what determines what should be considered a motorhome or not is its functionality and ability to carry the weight. Does it provide not only the ability to sleep in it but also a bathroom and ability to shower? If not, not a motorhome. Does it have at least a cooler but preferably a refrigerator and way to cook and bake in it? If not, not a motorhome. Can the Chassis and suspension handle the weight of not only the body but what would be considered a reasonable amount of gear and personal effects to make an extended stay in like if you were at home? If no not a motorhome. Lets break Motorhome home in two! The first part is motor and refers to it as a vehicle. The second part refers to it being a home. Its a vehicle home. As I stated to truly function as a home it has to meet those standards. Other wise its just a vehicle set up for overnight camping or really roughing it to spend an extended time in it.
